On thursday, august 17, 2023 at the Magnificat center in Gitega, the President of the Republic of Burundi HE Evariste NDAYISHIMIYE proceeded to the opening of the diaspora week, Edition 2023. That week has been organized each year since 2014 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation. This year's theme is: "Burundian Diaspora, together with the leaders of our country, let us unite for the development of our homeland".
